WindyApps Privacy Policy
Welcome to WindyApps's Privacy Policy. Thank
you for reading it.
This policy applies to websites, apps and services operated by WindyApps. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as our
"Service","Us","We" in
this Privacy Policy. This policy may change over time to enhance the safety of
your information.
At WindyApps, your privacy is a top priority.
Your privacy is at the core of the way we design and build the services and
products you know and love, so that you can fully trust them and focus on
building meaningful connections. We appreciate that you put your trust in us
when you provide us with your information and we do not take this lightly.
This policy's goal is to make sure you understand the information we
collect, why we collect it and how it is used. We actually want you to read our
policies and understand our privacy practices before using our services.
1.
Collection Of Information

Registration information
When you download the App and create an
account ("Account"), we may collect certain information
("Registration Information") about you, such as: Name, User name,
Email address, Mobile number, Gender identity, Date of birth, Sexual
preference, Photographs, Location, and Login information for social media
accounts that you connect to your WindyApps Account
(this could include, for example, your Facebook and Google accounts).
You will also be required to create a
password in connection with the registration of your Account. Once you
register, you will be able to review and change this information at any time
just by logging in to WindyApps (other than your
location, which, if you have given WindyApps access
to your location in your device settings, is automatically updated based on the
location of your device) or contacting WindyApps's
Customer Support Team. It is your responsibility to ensure that your account
details are kept up to date. If your phone number changes, please ensure that
you update this in your account.
The information we collect helps to
enhance the App and verify our Users (robots are not welcome!). Registration
Information such as your sexual preference, name and username may be visible to
other Users who view your profile page.

Information we receive from others
In addition to the information you may
provide us directly, we receive information about you from others, including:
Members Members may provide information about you as they use our
services, for instance as they interact with you or if they submit a report
involving you.
Social Media You may decide
to share information with us through your social media account, for instance if
you decide to create and log into your WindyApps
account via your social media or other account (e.g., Facebook, Google or
Apple) or to upload onto our services information such as photos from one of
your social media accounts (e.g., Instagram or Spotify).
Other Partners We may receive
information about you from our partners where WindyApps
ads are published on a partner's service (in which case they may pass along
details on a campaign's success). Where legally allowed, we can also receive
information about suspected or convicted bad actors from third parties as part
of our efforts to ensure our members safety and security.

Information collected when you use our services
When you use our services, this
generates technical data about which features you've used, how you've used them
and the devices you use to access our services. See below for more details:
Payment Information When you
subscribe to a paid service or make a purchase directly from us (rather than
through a platform such as iOS or Android), you
provide us or our payment service provider with information, such as your Paypal account, debit or credit card number or other
financial information.
Geolocation Information If you have
given WindyApps access to your location in your
device settings, when you use your mobile, we will collect information about WiFi access points as well as other location information
about your longitude and latitude and may save your device's coordinates to
offer certain features to you. This information helps us identify your physical
location and we may use it to personalise the App and make it easier for you to
interact with other Users, by enabling the general locality information to be
displayed to Users seeing your profile and showing you the profiles of other
Users who are near you.
Usage Information Using the
services generates data about your activity on our services, for instance how
you use them (e.g., when you logged in, features you've been using, actions
taken, information shown to you, referring webpages address and ads that you
interacted with) and your interactions with other members (e.g., members you
connect and interact with, when you exchanged with them, number of messages you
send and receive).
Device information We collect
information from and about the device(s) you use to access our services,
including hardware and software information such as IP address, device ID and
type, apps settings and characteristics, app crashes, advertising IDs (which
are randomly generated numbers that you can reset by going into your device'settings), identifiers associated with cookies or
other technologies that may uniquely identify a device or browser.
2.
Cookies and Other Similar Data Collection
Technologies
Cookies are small text files input and
store on your device, which enables the features and functionality of WindyApps services. We use and may allow others to use
cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels, SDKs) to recognize
you and/or your device(s).
Some web browsers (including Safari,
Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome) have a "Do Not Track"
("DNT") feature that tells a website that a user does not want to
have his or her online activity tracked. If a website that responds to a DNT
signal receives a DNT signal, the browser can block that website from
collecting certain information about the browser's user. Not all browsers offer
a DNT option and DNT signals are not yet uniform. For this reason, many
businesses, including WindyApps, do not currently
respond to DNT signals.
3.

experience on WindyApps is an enjoyable one and in
order to deliver it to you, we may use your Registration and other information

protect our Users and third
parties from harm.
4.
How We Share Information
Since WindyApps's
goal is to help you make more connections, the main sharing of users'
information is with other users. In some circumstances, we will share parts of
information to legal entities. The following are the situations which we share
information with different parties.

With other users
When you log into our service, you
voluntarily disclose your nickname on the service. You may also disclose more
information such as gender and interest. You may also share more information to
other users directly through the chat or message. Please be careful with your
information since neither you nor we can control what others do with your
information once you share it.

With our service providers and partners
We use third parties to help us operate
and improve our services. These third parties assist us with various tasks,
including data hosting and maintenance, analytics, customer help, marketing,
advertising, payment processing and security operations.
We may also share information with
partners who distribute and assist us in advertising our services. For example,
we may share limited information on you in hashed form to advertising partners.
We follow a strict vetting process prior to engaging any service provider or
working with any partner. All of our service providers and partners must agree
to strict confidentiality obligations.

When required by law
We may disclose your information if
reasonably necessary: (i) to comply with a legal process, such as a court
order, subpoena or search warrant, government / law enforcement investigation
or other legal requirements; (ii) to assist in the prevention or detection of
crime (subject in each case to applicable law); or (iii) to protect the safety
of any person.

To enforce legal rights
We may also share information: (i) if
disclosure would mitigate our liability in an actual or threatened lawsuit;
(ii) as necessary to protect our legal rights and legal rights of our users,
business partners or other interested parties; (iii) to enforce our agreements
with you; and (iv) to investigate, prevent, or take other action regarding
illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing.
5.
How We Protect Your Information
We work hard to protect you from
unauthorized access to or alteration, disclosure or destruction of your
personal information. As with all technology companies, although we take steps
to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that
your personal information will always remain secure.
We regularly monitor our systems for
possible vulnerabilities and attacks and regularly review our information
collection, storage and processing practices to update our physical, technical
and organizational security measures.
If we suspect or detect any breach of
security, we may suspend your use of all or part of the services without
notice.
6.
Your Rights
Privacy laws applicable in your country
may give you the following rights:

Right to be informed: what personal
data an organisation is processing and why (this notice).

Right of access: you can request a copy of your
data.

Right of rectification: if the data
held is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected.

Right to erasure: you have the right to have your

a copy of your data in a machine-readable form that can be transferred to
another provider.

Right to object: in certain circumstances
(including where data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests or for
the purposes of marketing) you may object to that processing.

Rights related to automated decision-making
including profiling: there are several rights in this area where processing carried out
on a solely automated basis results in a decision which has legal or
significant effects for the individual. In these circumstances your rights
include the right to ensure that there is human intervention in the
decision-making process.
7.
Data Retention And Deletion
We keep your personal information only
as long as we need it for the legal basis relied upon and as permitted by
applicable law. When you delete your Account or it is deactivated by us, we
make sure it is no longer viewable on the App, unless:

we must keep it to comply with applicable law (for instance, if you make
purchases within the App, some personal data may need to be kept for tax and
accounting purposes);

we must keep it to evidence our compliance with applicable law (for
example, if an account is blocked, we keep some account information and a
record of the behaviour that led to the block - this information is retained
for evidential purposes in case of queries or legal claims concerning the
block);

there is an outstanding issue, claim or dispute requiring us to keep the
relevant information until it is resolved;

the information must be
kept for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and
enhancing Users' safety and security (for example, information may need to be
kept to prevent a user who was banned for unsafe behaviour or security
incidents from opening a new account).
8.
